Heather Eddington/State of Flux is regularly commissioned to produce work for other organisations, dance companies and individual artists. As Heather's practice incorporates a wide range of artistic mediums such as dance, digital media, poetry, sculpture and live animation, her work can fit a wide range of contexts whilst being tailored to fit a specific brief. Heather will work with the commissioning partner(s) and collaborators to research an idea and subsequently make an exciting live performance, original film, or installation .

Alternatively, Heather is experienced in directing, filming and editing and therefore enjoys creating pieces for commercials; films; music videos; and site specific events amongst others.

Recent collaborations and commissions from leading organisations include New Art Club (Tom Roden and Pete Shenton), Candoco Dance Company and DanceEast. Heather has also provided consultancy and artistic direction for projects with Sadler's Wells Theatre, London and Youth Dance England.

Come Dance With Me

In association with Dance East and featuring the “Morecambe and Wise” of dance Tom Roden and Pete Shenton, Come Dance with Me includes fun features, interviews,and performances.

Treading a line between popular nonsense and talking seriously about dance, the weekly broadcast will capture a contrasting range of dance styles and will promote dance for a broad public audience.

A Study of Who 

Co-produced by the Barbican with CREATE and Shoreditch Town Hall.

Heather’s new commission A Study of Who, is one of the lucky finalists for the 2012 Award. 
The final showcases will feature digital and participatory theatre, live art, dance and drop-in installations, and can be seen at various venues from 11-14 October. They offer a rare chance to catch a glimpse of the strong vision and original ideas of a new wave of artists.
