This is also my Writing Arts Review. Books by Justina Chen. She is very strong and would do anything to save her family. I don’t think I’ve ever done that before.

My favorite part of the book is when her mother and father suprise her with her birthday gifts because she realizes that her parents do care about her. Syrah knows better than most that appearances c If nothing else, the Chengs know how to save face. It’s a coming of age novel heavy on the whine in the opening chapters. Of c I love those quotation marks at the end of the synopsis. They don’t just survive their 40,foot descent. It begins so whiny and angsty. I was expecting scenes and scenes of her flying down the mountain or something.
