She fought her past, for her children, all three of them, for her family, for her right for happiness. She is found out and has to run but the bond between the two characters is strong.
She is brave, resourceful, and overall just happy to be alive. Nine-year-olds huffnan really smart. Won’t tell too much so you must read it. I found it hard to believe that the authorities were not watching her brother and therefore would not have been led straight to her very quickly. Neena has a very good reason for being in jail-she killed a man, not just any man either, but a prominent, wealthy one.
This book is amazing, jailvird there are so many quirks for the characters- making them very believable. I was excited because it was one of the free Kindle books on Amazon, so I thought I had lucked out.

It was so easy to love them all. At first this book was a little slow. I’m glad I did. This was a foray into fiction I would not normally read. I enjoyed it, but it seemed uneven. For people who stand by your side no matter what. It wasn’t of great depth and it wrapped up quite quickly, and a little too neatly to be entirely believable, but I enjoyed the characters and story.

She ends up in a small Arkansas town and slowly builds a new life for herself, falling in love with the town’s attorney along the way and marrying him. The style of writing flows very well, and held my attention from beginning to end. Iailbird honest, emotional, and definitely female perspective. The truth about Neena and her past come to surface.
Nookpages. I loved all of them like family and didn’t want it to end. Neena is a bit prison-hardened resulting from her experiences, but in a good way. It is full of suspense and romance and talks about a subject close to my heart.

She has to survive and fight for her life and happiness. This book is amazing, and there are so many quirks for the characters- making them very believable. I honestly can’t believe how much I enjoyed this book, the rather dark content was kept light and humorous with Neena’s main character antics and it never got too heavy despite rape, murder, abuse, and torture all being rather prominent plot events.
That someone took her into the woods and attacked her, raped her and would have fed her to the gators if she hadn’t hit him over the head with a tire iron which sent him to the fiery place he belongs. Characters were very well described.
Huffman delivers another story of likable, believable and realistic characters in a plot hetaher has plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader invested heathed this book, turning the pages with bated breath until the end. The story led to a conclusion that I was pretty sure was going to happen, which is one of the reasons I took a star off.
Getting into a female head is hard. Neena is a very strong, determined character and she spends most of her time pushing forward, doing what needs to be done, instead of dwelling on the hopel Jailbird opens in the middle of a jailbreak.
