Gabe is becoming human, Luc is frustrated at still being human as it renders him helpless and Frannie would probably like to be just human at this point! I suppose having a plethora of action and conflicts is better than not having enough and being bored, but it did have an effect on my ability to just get lost in the story a bit.
They make you feel something. I was incredibly lucky to win the last ARC of Last Rite from Lisa Desrochers herself many months ago now and I immediately devoured the book in one sitting. He was mean, hurtful, and just didn’t seem to care. The action is great. This was what disappointed me the most. I had some serious problems with Frannie for one and the plot for me, I just didn’t connect.
If you’ve read this far, you’ll want to desorchers what happens with Frannie, Luc and Gabe. Now well, after my review As I said, Last Rite was great.

Her family dynamic was interesting. This one is again told from the alternating first-person perspectives of the 3 main characters, Frannie, Luc, and Gabe. Other books in the series.

Frannie is a self pitying, dull, pathetic idiot. Maybe there will be a spin off series. The Key to Everything. She’s torn between falling in love with the man she shouldn’t want and fesrochers man she can’t have.
I loved the scenes in this book. When all Hell, literally breaks loose, you hold your own. I figured the whole thing would be with Luc in the end but this book bothered me beyond belief.

I find Frannie acting like an idiot throughout rjte large chunk in the middle. Look at that cover!!! Log in now or Create an account. However she still managed to retain her spark, she just was a bit more mature.
This is one of those love triangles where either guy lida a good one and without telling you who she ultimately chooses, it was a good decision on her part.
Who does Frannie end up with? Frannie is quite a frustrating character in this book, but she does some pretty BA things to be honest. I’m really quite torn. I greatly enjoyed the first two books in the series, but had some trouble getting through this one.
